If

you are looking to have something power washed, you might be asking yourself and those around you, how do I find the best power washing company? As much as we would like to say, look no further - you found them, its Z Power Washing let us discuss this a little more and prepare you with 3 quick questions you can ask a potential contractor.
The first question we would recommend you ask a potential contractor, does your machine have hot water capabilities? The ability to have hot water and steam only increases a contractor's ability to perform quality power washing services. Cold water limits a contractor's ability to effectively clean. At Z Power Washing, we use a diesel boiler that produces hot water/steam up to 300 degrees. We aim to safely clean at much lower temperatures but have incredible capabilities through our professional equipment.
The second question we would recommend you ask a potential contractor; how much PSI and GPM does your machine put out? PSI stands for pressure per square inch and GPM is gallons per minute. To put things in perspective, you could go onto Amazon and purchase a cheap pressure washing machine for $100-500 that uses cold water and produces 1600-3200 PSI with 1.2-2.5 GPM. A professional, high-quality machine that produces the best cleaning results should have at least 3500 PSI with capabilities of at least 4.6 GPM.
The third question should be, how experienced is your team? Sometimes you might have a company that has been in business for many years, but their most experienced technician has only been working with them for 6 months! Experience cannot be underestimated. There is definitely a science to cleaning, that includes variables such as temperature, pressure, duration, and sometimes chemical components. Unskilled labor can result in concrete etching, damage to other property, or simply unsatisfactory results.
So, in summary, don't get fooled by all of the pop-up power washing companies that are starting a business based on TikTok trends that show residential house cleaning propaganda. Hire a professional. I promise you will find one that is reasonably priced and is better equipped to handle your power washing needs.
